ZMMMC operates as a public–private partnership with the Government of Zimbabwe, as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding between ZMMMC and the Government. The Centre commenced operations on July 17, 2023, and currently provides services during daytime hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. However, there are plans to expand to a 24-hour service in the future, subject to adequate staffing levels. In the short term, ZMMMC intends to dedicate one Saturday per month for doctor visits to meet and attend to patients.
